Me, Imogen and Naomi had problems deciding which Cruella de Vil edit to use and imogen suggested trying out using the photo we liked but photoshopping a background in. So I've done this. What do you all think, do you prefer this one or think we should stick to one of the originals. Alicia

Which photograph do people prefer for Cruella's final image? Me, imogen and naomi are unsure which one we like the best. We want to decide by tonight so I can print out the hand outs for the presentation :)

I was just going through the ones of Cruella in the studio and thought id give a go at editing one of them, I actually prefer this one to the one i put originally, but will show you guys tomorrow  and see what you think.

A cropped version of Klimt style

What do people think so they prefer the cropped or not? Louise first suggested cropping it because the projector didnt go all the way to the bottom, so I imposed the background on and then showed her and she said she quite liked it how it was. But I thought I would crop and see what we thought. Louise mentioned alot of empty space on one side I did it like that originally because thats how the painting is but maybe it does look better being more central.

Here's an edit I've done for Cruella, I read what Imogen posted about changing the hair to black and white but keeping the red lipstick so thats what i tried to do, I also changed the coat to black and white as I think it makes it look more dalmatian like :)

This is a slightly different edit of the same photograph, I've added abit more blusher and eyeshadow and upped the shadow and highlights.

Here's two edits I've done for Jessica Rabbit, I think I like the top one the best, I like how it sort of makes a love heart and is quite glamorous.

Sunddas and Natalie are in lectures and unable to come, Natalie says she is going to try and come, Kaylie and Naomi aren't able to come. Alicia bought the outift for Jessica Rabbit yesterday and we are just doing the models hair now.

Imogen .. Editing the photos of cruella deville...

Right so I have been doing some research into cruella and it seams that most images of her have the main key features of black and white hair with red lips... So I think when editing we really need to stick to this otherwise we will risk ruining the recreation. We can turn my hair black and white instead of blonde and white on photoshop. We could also try and put the photo into black and white but just leave her lips red. Also we could take the cartoon approach to it and also use a poster effect on photoshop? After all she is a cartoon character? Let me know what you all think and I will have a bash at it later. Also we are meeting up tommorow so please try and make it for the final shoot! Xxxx

Hey everyone I think The Cleopatra edit is definatley a final image and also once we crop the klimt one itll be fine! Also alicia could you post the b&w one of cruella up one here?
We really need to get a wiggle on with our final shoot. Im free for a few hours on friday and we need it done by then i think. Also may be able to come in tommorow for an hour or so. xx
