When reading through the brief the first person i thought of was Marilyn Monroe (think that's quite an easy one) but there have been numerous celebrities who have tried to re-create the style in which she had, the blonde curly bob, pale face and bright red lipstick.
The first celebrities that I found with this look were Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Madonna, Lady Gaga and also models that have modelled for Vogue, which have re-created her style, but mainly just their hair and make-up. Christina Aguilera also created this sort of style in her 'Candy Man' (2007) where she had the hair and make-up like Marilyn Monroe but it was earlier in the war times. Lady Gaga has also tried to create this style with her hair and make-up then put her own twist to it with her clothing and branding.
Madonna has the perfect image to re-create a Marilyn Monroe look, there are pictures that are styled the same and compared to each other which are quite clearly very well done.

Marilyn Monroe was known as a major sex symbol and was a goddess to all men, she was a big Hollywood actress, singer, model (also modelled for playboy) and show girl. The style that she had was classical and beautiful, in all the pictures that we have been left with in her memory she's wearing beautiful long ball gowns or something classical and casual.
